Cape Clarity was established in 2025 by Kylie and Kalli, two Speech Therapists and Audiologists who have worked alongside each other for the past couple of years, establishing a wonderful working relationship that brings with it a sense of togetherness and the desire to help not only each other but also their clients achieve their maximum potential within a safe and welcoming environment.
Kylie qualified with BA (Speech therapy and Audiology) from the University of Witwatersrand in 2017. She previously qualified with a BA in South African Sign Language and Linguistics in in 2013. Kylie first worked at Sizwe Tropical Disease Hospital in Johannesburg where she ran the Audiology department and opened the Speech Therapy department. Her area of special interest is paediatric neurological disorders, dysphagia (swallowing) and voice disorders. Kylie’s areas of audiology are hearing assessments, management, diagnosis and hearing aid evaluations and fitting.
Kalli graduated from the University of Witwatersrand in 2013 as a Speech therapist and Audiologist. She completed her community service year at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital. She then joined a multidisciplinary team and worked in Private Practice specialising in Neurorehabilitation. In 2023 she moved to Cape Town with her young family where she started working within an Audiology Practice alongside ENT Doctors. She has a special interest in Adult Voice Therapy as well as Swallow Rehabilitation, particularly related to Head and Neck Cancer. Kalli is LSVT®️ Certified, offering unique therapy to those diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. Kalli focuses on and is passionate about adult and paediatric diagnostic audiology testing, hearing aid fittings as well as early detection and intervention within newborn hearing screenings. Creating long standing relationships and an environment of mutual respect and trust is of the utmost importance to Kalli, ensuring every patient’s individual needs are understood and are the driving factor of all she does.
They bring with them years of experience with patient care being at the forefront of all that they do, Cape Clarity is a space where confidence is built through enabling people to unlock their full communicative potential, to assist in regaining their sureness in themselves and to reduce the feelings of isolation and loneliness within conversations and social gatherings.
